projects?
It appears that people are adding the their personal blogs which are linked to this one and it amy be time to set up some art projects associated with these interactions. Any one interested? may be set up a new project based blog linked to the mythological studio for each idea?
Great idea. How about you 1/ post something on the main blog page to indicate an interest and then 2/ start another blog about work related to mythology as link which i will put into a special section at the side. Or Perhaps think of some project such as general images of a mythological nature or we can tag as belonging to that catergory.
Hello, How about thinking up a loose project definition (maybe it is mythology related? or maybe there is a word or a theme that we can choose and interpret freely?), putting that out as a suggestion to the participants of this blog, and then posting the resulting work here, to give this blog a kick start? Doing a week or month long projects like that within this blog might even be a future catalyst for a virtual (or other) exhibition, and a somekind of 'framework' (idea, theme, thread) might help people posting their work and link it all together. If the posts are labelled under each theme, that will also build a good archive over time on different topics. Just a thought :)
Great Idea. Do it. Set the parameters and post it up. If you like I can send a group email to all as well.It would be best if the iniative comes from you. phil
Mythgological studio-What, Where, Why, How - An introduction
The mythological studio is intended to act as an online studio contact site where students from RMIT's various arts courses and in different geographical locations can interact with each other purely on a social level or as way of setting up contacts for either on-line projects or exhibitions/books/ whatever in real space. It is at an embryonic stage at present and welcomes any interaction. At present artists from Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia, and in all courses, are involved but hopefully this will expand to other universities and maybe artists outside uni's as well. A publication may result from the actual site itself when there is enough material.
That's great. I am interested and want to do some
